Folvyn Portfolio
Folvyn turns your experience, projects and skills into a portfolio that sits at its own web address — everything a one-page CV could never hold, in one link.
The three surfaces
The page readers open, the console you write it in, and what the link brings back.
The page a reader opens
Everything you wrote, in a fixed order, at an address that is yours. Each language is its own page, rendered to HTML before it is served, so it loads complete on the first request.
The console you write it in
Every collection is a form with a live preview beside it. Pick a section, fill in the fields, and what you are looking at is exactly what a reader gets once you publish it.
What the link brought back
Who opened your portfolio, which sections they read, which projects they clicked into and the countries they came from. Counted without cookies and never tied to a person.
Eight sections, filled
A fixed order: who you are, what you did, what you can do, how to reach you.
- Hero — Your name, what you are doing right now, where you are, the languages you speak, and the card that leads into it all.
- About — Your own words, a portrait, the numbers behind them, and every language you speak with a level set against each of them.
- Experience — A timeline of roles with what you did in each and the stack you did it with, dated and folded once the list runs long.
- Projects — A card for each project, opening onto the full description, the links that go with it and everything it was built with.
- Skills — Your stack, grouped the way you work, with the full list behind each card and the tools you use most clearly marked.
- Education — Degrees and certifications, each with its diploma or certificate attached, so anyone reading can check it themselves.
- Achievements — Volunteering and awards, with the photographs that go with them opening in a lightbox, and a date behind each of them.
- Contact — A way to reach you, the city you are in, your resume to download, and links to the social profiles you want people to see.
A section you leave empty does not exist: no heading with nothing under it, no placeholder, and nothing on the page linking to it. Fill one in later and it appears in its place.
One card, five trades
Every portfolio opens on the same card, and what it shows depends on the trade you pick.
- Technology — A shell over your own portfolio. List the sections, change into one, open the files attached to it.
- Business — A sheet of figures, one line per record, with a formula bar naming whichever cell is under the cursor.
- Creative — A sketchboard of plates, one board per section, each drawn in as the card is opened.
- People — A year axis with a bar for every engagement and a diamond for every milestone on it.
- Science — Everything you have dated, plotted, with a spline drawn through the milestones.
What comes with it
Every published portfolio comes with all of this, with nothing to install or switch on.
- Written in several languages — Write it in up to five languages. Each one is its own page, indexed separately, and every reader lands in their own language.
- Readable without JavaScript — Every page is rendered to static HTML before it is served, so it loads complete for readers, search engines and slow connections.
- Shared without guessing — Each portfolio carries its own title, description, structured data and share card, so a pasted link unfurls into something worth opening.
- Light, dark, their choice — The page opens in whatever the reader’s screen is already set to, and they can switch it for themselves without losing their place.
- Only what changed is saved — A draft is compared against what was loaded, so a save carries the fields you touched and nothing else, and the undo history stays exact.
- Your files in one place — Portraits, project images, certificates and diplomas sit in a media library, each one reachable only under your own prefix.
- A resume that keeps up — Build a resume out of what your portfolio already says, and be told when the portfolio has moved on and the file has not.
- It opens without a connection — Install the console and it opens offline, showing what you last loaded. A save waits for the network and tells you it is still waiting to go out.
- Yours to take or delete — Export everything you have written whenever you want, or ask for it to be erased and follow the request through to done.
Three steps to live
Anyone can start right away. Your portfolio stays private until you publish it.
Sign in with Google or LinkedIn. Signing in reserves nothing on its own: one button on the welcome page brings your portfolio into existence.
Fill it in
Work through the collections in any order, with the live preview beside you. Nothing is reachable from the outside while you are still writing.
Publish
Publishing renders every language you wrote, draws your share card and adds your address to the sitemap. Publish again as often as your work changes.
- Up to five languages
- An address you choose once
- Yours to export or erase
Common questions
In the order people ask them: what it is, who it suits, what it costs and your data.
What is Folvyn, and how does it work?
Folvyn is a free portfolio host made by MKirell. You write your experience, projects and skills in one console, and Folvyn publishes them as a web page at an address of your own, with no template to set up and no code to write.
Who is Folvyn for, beyond developers?
Folvyn is for anyone with work to show, not only developers. Pick one of five trades, from technology and business to creative, people or science, and your portfolio leads with what matters in that field. You can switch trades later.
Is Folvyn free, or is there a paid plan?
Folvyn is completely free, and there is no paid plan. Every account gets one complete portfolio at its own address with every feature included, no ads and no trial period, so nothing you build is ever locked behind a plan or an upgrade.
How is Folvyn different from LinkedIn?
LinkedIn places your profile in a feed, next to ads, other people's profiles and a sign-in prompt. A Folvyn portfolio is a page only about you, laid out for your trade, readable without an account, and it shows you what readers looked at.
Who can see my portfolio and my data?
Until you publish it, only you can see your portfolio, not even MKirell. After that, anyone with the link can read it and search engines can find it. Your data is never sold or used for advertising, and visitors are counted without cookies.
Can I export my content and delete it all?
You can export everything you wrote, files included, whenever you like. Deleting your Folvyn data takes the portfolio offline straight away and erases the rest for good 30 days later, and until then you can still change your mind.
